Montini wins a shoot out with Marian Central, 52-27 to advance to the state semi's. Marian Central started the scoring with a quick 58 yard TD run from Chris Streveler, taking an early 7-0 lead over Montini. But Montini got their scoring started on a 12 yard TD pass from John Rhode to Jordan Westerkamp making it 7-0 early in the 1st. Westerkamp added 3 more TD catches from Rhode. ( 44, 33 and 21 yards). Joe Borsellino added 3 scores of his own with 2 TD catches ( 5 and 6 yards) and another TD run, a 2 yarder. Montini got big plays on defense from Joe Cione, with 3 INTS, and Mike Kaiser added 3 sacks. Marian Central got their scoring from 3 TD runs, and he added another pass, a 14 yarder, to Nikko Theodorou.
