Its high school football playoff time in Indiana and we’ve got highlights from the opening round match up between the Avon Orioles and the Ben Davis Giants in Indianapolis, Indian on November 4, 2011. Ben Davis emerged victorious and advances to the next round led by senior 5-star running back Lamont Osborn who takes it home twice, parting the Avon defenders like the Red Sea on runs of 32 yards and 11 yards. But the Avon defense didn’t just roll over either. In fact the future looks bright in sophomore Tijuan Johnson who landed an interception that just stops the Giant’s drive in its tracks! Finally, the Oriole offense gave their all and put a highly respectable 42 points on the board on plays like the 11yard touchdown pass from quarterback Tyler Haston.
