The heated rivalry between Glenbrook North and South started out as a very physical and defensive first period. Both teams failed to score in the first.
The second period was the polar opposite of the first. Glenbrook North opened the scoring 6:15 into the 2nd on a goal by Zachary Meir assisted by Parker Roth. However the lead was short lived as Eric Davis scored at the 7:47 mark for Glenbrook North assisted by Mike Dillon.
North retook the lead at 11:15 mark on an unasisted goal by John McNally. Once again Glenbrook South answered at 16:35 on a goal by Mike Dillon assisted by Connor Dunham.
The third period saw the game winning goal at the 7:04 mark in the 3rd by Nicholas Day and assisted by Franz Pintz. Glenbrook North was happy to dump the puck in the rest of the game. Final Glenbrook North 3 Glenbrook South 2.
