Bolingbrook and Homewood Flossmoor began the night both hoping for a victory, and both teams came out willing to show what it took as both teams opened up with scoring, Aaron Bailey started things for Bolingbrook with a 55 yard TD run to go up 6-0 before Flossmoor's Lionel James hit a 19 yarder for a TD to take a 7-6 lead, and that's where Bolingbrook took over, scoring 3 unanswered TD's and taking the lead into halftime 25-7. The 3rd quarter featured physical defense and a little bit of luck as a catch off of a tipped pass helped set Homewood Flossmoor up in the 3rd with a score and they cut the lead to 25-14, before Jaden Huff answered right back with a TD to put Bolingbrook up 31-14. H-F refuses to go down without a fight however as a quick TD pass cut the lead to 31-21 to end the 3rd. Bolingbrook decided to run the clock to start the fourth and they got exactly what they wanted: a long drive and a TD run by Aaron Bailey to go up 39-21 with 6 minutes left in the 4th. After a Homewood Flossmoor turnover, Omar Stover put the stamp on this game with a 52 yard TD run to go up 45-21. H-F scored late on a GREAT one handed grab to end up down 45-28, losing by that same final.
