All of the dreams of Lake Forest fans culminated on a late game Scout Drive. Following 3 quarters of close nail-biting play, the Scouts had 3 minutes to work with in an attempt to grab the lead. Baylor Broughton kicked a 26 yard field goal to go ahead 23-21 over Lakes with 1:05 left in the game With that said, Lakes fans were left with limited time to score, Lakes marched down the field to the 26 yard line where Brandon Brumm attempted and missed a 43 yard field goal. Lake Forest goes on to the next round of the playoffs with a 23-21 final score
