New Trier started the scoring in the first half, Michael Thomas had two short runs for touchdowns that made it 14-0. However late in the 2nd quarter, Tommy Galanopoulus threw for a 4 yard touchdown to bring the game closer at 14-7. New Trier however added a last second field goal to extend their lead at halftime 17-7. Niles West fumbled their first 3 possessions of the second half which allowed New Trier to open up a commanding lead. Frank Nicholas had two touchdowns off of QB keepers.
